Description
A creamy, sugar-free vanilla iced coffee that tastes like a treat but keeps your energy steady without the sugar crash. Ready in just 5 minutes using simple pantry staples.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cold brew or strong brewed coffee (cooled)
- 1.5 cups ice cubes
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk or oat milk
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream or coconut cream
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1–2 teaspoons liquid stevia or monk fruit sweetener
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)
Instructions
- If using hot coffee, brew it strong and cool it completely in the fridge or over ice.
- Fill a large glass to the top with ice cubes.
- In a separate bowl or jar, combine the milk, heavy cream (or coconut cream), vanilla extract, and sweetener. Whisk or shake until well combined.
- Pour the cold coffee over the ice, leaving about an inch of space at the top.
- Slowly pour the vanilla cream mixture over the coffee to create layers.
- Stir well to combine. Taste and adjust sweetness or strength if needed.
- Serve immediately, optionally topped with cocoa powder or vanilla bean.
Notes
For best results, use cold brew or chill strong coffee completely to prevent ice from melting too quickly. You can freeze leftover coffee into cubes to keep the drink strong as it melts. Liquid sweeteners dissolve better in cold drinks than powdered ones.
